COVID-19 UPDATE
The past two years have been unprecedented, and the fallout across the world has been terribly sad to witness. This pandemic has affected every single person in different ways, and the uncertainty that clouded over everything caused us to turn inward and contemplate the past, present, and future.
Ever since we began this project in the summer of 2018, Rainbow Vomit has been a place of refuge and creativity for us. Since closing down it has been very lonely without people there to experience it, and the magic that used to flow through the exhibit just hasn’t been there. We feed off the energy that our visitors bring to the space, and that has been all but absent over the past two months. However, with an abundance of caution and an acknowledgement of the seriousness of the situation that still remains, we have reopened our doors, albeit under different circumstances.
Rainbow Vomit will now be offering two distinct ways to visit, private bookings and public tours, with public tours limited to 25 people at a time. Rainbow Vomit can now be your own personal sanctuary, and we will be onsite as your personal concierges to customize the experience you and your loved ones would want in these strange times. We are thrilled to have our doors back open to the public and to be creating new experiences to delight visitors. Please visit our ticket page for more information on this experience, and whenever it may be we hope to see you soon.
WHAT SAFETY MEASURES WILL BE IN PLACE?
The current exhibit setup has been designed with your safety and comfort in mind, with the safety measures and and changes in place:
- Public tour groups of 25 or less per reservation
- CASPR air-filtration system providing continuous disinfection of air and surfaces
- Private bookings available for private parties and photo/video shoots
- Multiple hand-washing stations and sanitizer provided
- Tweaks to the exhibit for fewer points of guest contact
- Gloves available on request
- Hosts will wear masks at all times
DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK?
All non-vaccinated guests must wear face coverings during entry, orientation, and when unable to social distance from other guests. In accordance with CDC guidance and local regulations, guests of Rainbow Vomit who are fully vaccinated* may enter the exhibit without a face mask or covering.Â
Proof of vaccination is not required, this is based on the honor system. If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a face covering when entering the exhibit, during orientation, and when unable to social distance from other guests. During public tours we ask you wear your mask as much as possible, but you may take it off occasionally for pictures. During private group bookings we suggest visitors wear masks and take appropriate precautions, but we do not require it as long as your fellow guests are comfortable with it.
*People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose vaccine series, or 2 weeks after a single dose vaccine.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
While Rainbow Vomit is an all-ages experience, we do suggest that older guests refrain from visiting at this time. If you are an at-risk individual for COVID-19, have had recent exposure to someone with the virus, or feel symptoms of any kind we kindly ask you not attend at this time.
